I am glad for the official start of summer today! The boys started Wildcat baseball today and Wubi and I enjoyed a full hour of mommy/daughter time....just sitting on a picinic blanket reading princess books and all about Fancy Nancy and her Posh Puppy. Signed up for the Summer reading program at the library and off to the park for free lunches... it was a FABULOUS summer day!

This weekend i made a sappy paper chain to count down the days until we leave. It is GREAT to have a for real final countdown date! I wish I could say that the paperchain made me feel better....at the time it was AGONIZING to make each chain and put the number of days left on each one....it made me burst into tears with each symbolic day....BUT
Today when we woke up Carter took off a link and it felt like progress....AND I have pledged to not wish away each and every chain but to try to live each and every one to the fullest with my kiddos at home while preparing for Sifan to come home. She is coming home!!!! Only 3 weeks before I step on that plane!!!
