living the life. enjoying the journey

So we just got word that our homestudy has been approved!!!! We have been sent our final set of dossier documents and as of yesterday pieced together the amount needed for the country fee to officially be waiting for a referral. Sooooo...the reality is hitting me again. Torrey wants to go for it right way and turn everything in. Me...I am dreading the transistion. It was HARD the first time and starting over seems a little daunting ...but after much though and prayer I know this is what we want. The road ahead will be hard but I know the blessings afterward are ENORMOUS! Wubitu is so wonderful on so many different levels...she brings so much joy to our lives! We can't wait to give her a little sister. Wuby is so excited and talks about sharing her room and clothes with her sister Maree (short for Marjorie...my great-grandmother's name). Noah is excited because he LOVES his little sister (you hear him doating over her every morning during her ultra cuddly time "ohhh, Wuby you are such a cutie, etc." Carter is excited but a little bummed again since we are requesting ANOTHER girl. He wants us to adopt 3 more boys instead.
So we had planned on an October dossier date but now are looking at early August. Our age range is 18 months to 3 (our agency requires a 12 month age gap between children). We are aiming for Wuby and her sister to be 1 school year apart. So at this point the daughter that God has for our family is likely 2 years old aready and we don't want to miss any more of her life. So we are submitting our paperwork early and praying for God's perfect timing. With Wubitu we waited almost 4 months for referral while some waited 2 weeks. With this adoption there are more people waiting for "older" children so the wait may be longer and that is perfectly okay with us. We really feel a peace about the process this time...no real urgency (however, we will see how that progresses as the months tick by). Rambling. We are however hoping to travel by the end of next summer but could leave as early as December (very unlikely.) So there you have it...my homestudy approval ramble...I'm off to notarize!!!
