1) No state certification docs again today.....ugg! It has to...HAS TO...be here tomorrow!!! If it isn't here by Thursday then it must be lost...yuck!

2) However, the judge in our county finally bent and our lawyer has finally convinced him to not charge an additional $131 for filing Wubitu's finalization and name change papers (on top of the $500 lawyer fees)! So our lawyer FINALLY submitted our paperwork today and we should have a court date soon (He cashed the check for fees in January!!) For those not in the adoption loop. This means we can change her name and she will be an official US citizen! Right now she is a Legal Permanent Resident and her name is Webitu Torrey E. I can't wait to get everything uniform. I feel like such a fraud sometimes when I go places and can't remember which name I need to use since the insurance company will only take the name on Wuby's social security card which came from her Ethiopian adoption papers (The Ethiopian government assigns each child their name First name- Father's first name- Father's last name). So at least things are moving on Wuby's adoption finalization!

3) On another note: Yesterday I had a total Ah ha! moment! We all had a wonderful day....it was very much like I envisioned our lives would be while we were waiting to bring Wuby home. It took 7 1/2 months but I feel like we are finally there! No day care kids, YEAH, and Carter & Wuby played puppy and baby together all day. There were normal sibling squabbles but for the most part things were peaceful, productive, and fun!
