So I am so excited again to be a girl mommy because I can paint fingernails!!! Wubitu was so excited about her new polish that she showed EVERYBODY and said "My mommy do-ed it!" Well Landon was very jealous so I told him I would put super secret nail polish on him (clear) but he still made his sad face so I asked him if he really really wanted the red polish and he said yes....I had to tell him though that his daddy might make him take it off when he picks him up. We was the happiest little boy with red polish (even if it was only for 6 hours) (Is that not ecstasy in the little boys eyes?!).

I am officially a super-frug. I couldn't make myself spring for the $12 memory mate pictures for the boys' sports this summer (after all that is almost $50 for 4 pictures!!!) I decided to take my own pictures of the boys. They were just as uncooperative as they are for the pros so here is what I have so far.

Can you tell they are being extra ornery (upside down bat)

I had to take Carter to the dentist this week because he had a brown tooth (thank you to Mindy who did a cursory oral exam in the church hallway to determine the possible meanings of his brown tooth....you are awesome). So the dentist said that he has a bruised tooth. It isn't grey so it isn't dead...just bruised. He said I have to check the gums around it everyday to make sure it doesn't become infected but he is hopeful that it will just turn back to white like a bruise on the skin after awhile. He did ask me how it happened...when did he bump it...ummm...he is a boy...he bonks his head a lot...we have 6 kids here all day....light saber fights, trampoline, flying bathroom doors, puppy sledding down the stairs, somersaults into the couch, bloody nose from bumping into someone who was climbing up the slide at the big spray park, falling off the bike..take your pick..could be any of those or more. It did make me feel better that the dentist said that it takes 2 weeks to show a bruise so I could be hard to pinpoint the actual accident and there shouldn't be any issues with his permanent teeth as long as we avoid infection. So on we go to the start of another action packed week...hopefully with no further injuries.
