6 months ago we first met our little girl Wubitu in and orphanage compound in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. We had been in Ethiopia for a day and a half and couldn't wait to go and see the little girl that we only knew from pictures. We remember standing in the hallway of the Care Center school while the film crew set up trying to compose ourselves as we realized what a HUGE step this would be in our lives. We seached the little room for her and there she was sitting quietly on the floor coloring. She never said a word the first day we met her just made cute little giggling sounds. I remember being afraid to touch her and I didn't feel like I as her mother enough to touch her hair even though I longed to take her in my arms. She gave us a picture she had drawn and we wore stickers on our heads. We were only allowed to stay for 20 minutes but little Wubitu won our hearts that day and we praise God for her everyday as she grows!
