Today marks the first day we checked Wubitu our of the Care Center to stay with us forever!!!
We were supposed to wait a few days to check her out but she was ready ready ready to stay with us! We were so thankful that CHSFS was so understanding in letting us keep Wubitu with us when it was clear that she wanted to stay with us. Read about our adventures here.
I don't have time for a lengthy post as things are very busy here (much to catch up on when things slow down) but wanted to share on this special day :)

Today Wuby loved hearing all about the first day we met and how she didn't talk at all the first day, just giggled sweetly at the stickers on our heads, and our fun game "Yet no"....and how we left our first meeting wondered if she could talk at all.....ha, ha!!!! We would soon find out that Wuby LOVES to talk! I remember how very tiny she was. So much smaller than I expected. At age 3 she was the same size as Carter at 10 months. Our first year together was very tough as we both learned to stretch and grow our character, but every moment was worth it! Our second year has been fabulous as we learned to enjoy each other. She is an absolute delight, pure joy! I am so blessed that I have been given the opportunity to be her mother.
