Last night Torrey left with the kids to drive to Georgia for his brother Luke's graduation from army training.
It was a strange feeling waking up to silence. I didn't have to to get anyone ready to go anywhere. I have no responsibility until I have to work tomorrow night. It is a truly strange feeling. I have had children almost all of my adult life...I had Noah when I was 19. So for 8 1/2 years every move I make has to be checked and balanced against how it fits into "the family schedule", around child friendliness of location, naps, nearest potties, can I get there before I have to be in the pick up line at school, etc. To just go and do as I please is so foreign to me. I think I am going to go to the fabric store today to look for sundress material....oh yeah and learn to sew! I will keep you posted on lack of activity!!!
In the adoption realm...things are weird. I will keep you posted when I get some official information. (no medical yet) Please keep Sifan and the kids in Kunkeet orphanage in your prayers....they are VERY MUCH NEEDED!
