I emailed BFAS today to ask if we should overnight our dossier to them or if I should save the money and send it regular post. They said that they have Ethiopian officials in the office this week so they won't be processing dossiers this week. So we will send it slow mail this week and be officially waiting next week. They also said that things should go quickly after that! So here's hoping to a quick referral! Now with that is the realization that our daughter is likely in an orphanage right now.....waiting for a family....a real child....not just one we have imagined for our family. Please pray for her! I don't think that the true reality of our daughter has fully hit yet....all I have been thinking about is paperwork...now maybe I can take awhile to just sit and prepare, mentally, emotionally, and spirtually for our next daughter.
Also I need to help prepare my mom & dad for the fact that I will be traveling alone to ET. My mom almost had a heart attack when I told her (I heard her beg in her mind....let it be Torrey who is traveling alone... PLEASE...not my daughter).
