The boys had a great time at the chess tournament this weekend. It is put on by the Allen County Public Library for free every year. It really is a great gig because it includes snacks galore and pizza for the family at lunch time. Plus each child leaves with a trophy! The boys look forward to it every year! This year Carter spent a lot of time at the park learning to play chess. It really paid off because he got 1st place in the Kindergarten division!!! It was like deja vu in a few rounds as he an another boy would pretend to blow each others pieces us with great sound effects....boys are so funny. Noah did really well also with a very respectable 2nd place in the 2nd grade division (he was beat by a girl).
